COVID-19 Statement
The health, safety, and wellbeing of Wonderberrys customers and employees is our top priority. We are adhering to government guidelines around COVID-19 with an aim to continue our business as usual. As such, in addition to our usual practices, the following measures have been put in place to contain the spread of COVID-19:
• As required, we have implemented a system to record details of all customers who visit the coffee shop in the event of track and trace being required
• 50% of our tables and chairs have been removed from the coffee shop and we have placed seats 2m apart
• Outside picnic tables are also located 2m apart and face in alternate directions
• Markers have been placed on the ground outside the shop to indicate two metre social distancing if queuing upon entry
• A 2m chevron marker has been placed on the floor in front of the counter to indicate where customers are to stand when placing an order
• We have hung a perspex screen above the counter to protect customers and staff
• Customers visiting the counter for any reason eg to place an order (whether to eat in or take-away) must wear face masks (the exceptions to this are children under 11 years of age or people with specific health issues)
• Customers are not required to wear face masks when in the seating area or at outside tables
• Contactless card payment is encouraged to avoid the transference of COVID
• We have implemented additional cleaning to our regime, including the wiping down of chairs, as well as tables, between customers. We also regularly wipe door handles and counters
• Staff wear face masks/visors when handling food, or speaking with customers
• We’ve emphasised the importance of following government guidelines to our staff, such as avoiding touching the face and washing hands for a minimum of 20 seconds.
Please be assured we will do everything we can to continue to serve our customers safely and will closely follow relevant guidance. As the situation progresses, we will implement or relax practises in line with PHE and government guidance.
